WEDDING VEILS, FINGERTIP, CHAPEL OR CATHEDRAL

Whether nylon or pure silk, a tulle bridal veil is a classic choice that drapes the bride in timeless splendor. English silk tulle is soft, fluid and drapes closer to the body than nylon tulle. The traditional nylon bridal tulle has a more crisp character with body than silk tulle and is popular for its affordability.

Many brides are confused about mixing their bridal veil with a headpiece and can feel overwhelmed with too many accessories. While sometimes it is best to keep things simple, it may also be a vision of beauty to wear a flower crown or tiara with a simple circle blusher veil.

The Birdcage Veil

Birdcage veils are widely held as a perfect bit of retro mystery for a vintage inspired & casual wedding. Cage veils can be worn off to the side as a peek-a-boo veil or as a full coverage blusher veil. The birdcage veil that is gathered onto a comb, can also be worn at the back of the head as a sweet mini veil after the ceremony.

The Juliet Cap Veil

The Juliet cap veil is a timeless classic that was originally in Vogue during the 1920s & 1930s, but a revival of the Juliet cap has been in demand fro the past few years.  These ultra feminine bridal caps can be made of plain tulle or trimmed with silk flowers & trims.

The Mantilla Veil

Usually a long, Spanish style circular veil of lace edged tulle that frames the face, the mantilla veil is usually secured with a comb at the crown of the head. I like to offer my mantilla veils without a comb which limit placement of the veil. The mantilla veil is also beautiful draped over the head as a circle blusher veil & then after the ceremony the bridal can pin the lace at the top of her head.

The Waterfall or Fountain Veil

This veil is gathered at the crown of the head to create a cascading effect around the face. The waterfall veil will usually have a blusher to add to the fullness. Rhinestones add beautiful spots of sparkle to a water fall veil!
