Nostalgia & Lace
After a reign of minimalism with brides, the femininity of lace & vintage inspired veils feels completely on time. It seems like the more lace the better.
I spent the last year carefully choosing imported lace trims & going through the many books in my studio on different eras of wedding fashion & each piece has naturally evolved from the visuals that caught my eye while doing my research & use of materials.
Florals & Lace
I also reflected to the always lingering nostalgia of my 20’s when I was just getting started.
The wedding dress fashion was vintage inspired with laces. I was successful in paring my dried flower crowns with these dresses. Now lace is having another moment in bridal fashion & I have re-imagined my original dried flower crowns with veils of fine imported lace.
Embracing Lace
From fine silk tulles with inset lace trims to exquisite Chantilly Lace mantilla veils that gracefully drape to the floor, this season I am in love with fine laces.
