HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Everything in the Erica Elizabeth Designs collection is handmade to order with a production time of 4 to 6 weeks depending on the style you choose. If you order a custom piece with changes, please leave at least 8 to 10 weeks for production.
DOES ERICA ELIZABETH DESIGNS TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS ON HEADPIECES?
We invite minor custom changes to most pieces if they are within the basic guidelines of Erica Elizabeth Designs collections. For example:
- We can add color with stones or muted patina colors.
- We can make a design higher or lower.
- We can add more crystals or ornaments to an existing design to give it more brilliance & panache!
- This process can take 8 to 10 weeks.
- We are not willing to redesign a piece with lesser quality materials for a better price. This creates more work & cost more than making it as sampled.
- Please be respectful & do not ask for discounts.
- Please do not ask us to copy from images or other designers’ headpieces.
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY HEADPIECE OR VEIL IN MY WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS?
Planning a wedding can be very stressful, even if you have hired a planner. Ordering your hair accessories early is an essential part of your planning process. After all, your headpiece will more likely be one of the main focuses of your bridal trousseau, so why not prioritize this important decision.
Often a bride’s hair accessories are the last decision she will make, due to waiting for the arrival of her gown. This can often lead to disappointments if there is not enough time left for production in the peak Spring and Fall busy wedding seasons.
We encourage you to start the process of ordering your headpiece shortly after you have ordered your gown. You may send us images and color swatches of your gown so we can help consult on style, color, or any questions you may have.
WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION PROCESS?
After your order is received, it will be put in our production schedule based on when the order was received. Metal pieces are fabricated & then sent out to be plated in the desired finish, which can take up to 2 weeks.
When the piece is received back in our studio, we then add the finishing touches which could take several days.
Then the pieces must sit undisturbed for a few days so the enamels, paints and glues can cure. Not to mention the quality control, packing and invoicing time.
Veils & all lace & fabric designs are all created in house. Since they can be very labor intensive, they also can take just as long as the metal designs.
DO YOU OFFER RUSH ORDERS?
Orders must be produced in batches due to vendor minimums.
So, if there has been not enough time left for our production process, a one-off order must be prioritized in front of others order and a rush charge will be applied.
Your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your life. The symbolism of a wedding is as old as love itself so make it beautiful, have fun and leave time to do so!
DO YOU OFFER RETURNS, EXCHANGES OR RUFUNDS?
Everything in Erica Elizabeth Designs is handmade & no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Due to slight differences in materials & the creative processes, please know there may be minor differences. This is also a desired & normal look in the designs.
We are always available and happy to consult or answer any questions you may have in choosing the perfect accessory or veil to compliment your gown.
After receiving your item, please inspect the piece immediately. You will have 5 business days from the time of receipt to notify us of any errors.
If you receive the incorrect product or if your product arrives damaged (not due to shipping), please email us from the contact form at the end of this page.
There are no returns or refunds on items that have signs of being worn or have been damaged after the wedding date.
If the item’s damage is not due to shipping, you will need to notify us within 5 business days of item receipt and we will repair or replace as needed. After 5 days of receipt, any damages to the item will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Non authorized returns and customized items are not returnable and you will be returned to you as well as you will be responsible for the shipping charge back to you.
All sales are final on custom orders and sale pieces.
All purchases made through this shop will be subject to these terms, so please inspect your order immediately after receipt. Please do wait until after your wedding.
There are no returns or refunds after your wedding.

HOW DOES ERICA ELIZABETH DESIGNS SHIP?
All orders are shipped beautifully packaged, and ready to be treasured on your wedding day. We ship UPS & UPS Next Day with tracking within the United States.
We ship internationally with UPS Worldwide with tracking.
I ship from the United States to Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and the European Union.
International packages shipped outside the United States on average, 10 to 12 business days to arrive. Please allow plenty of time in case your package gets stuck in customs.

We are not responsible for lost packages once it leaves our hands & has been confirmed delivered by the UPS. Please track your package with the tracking code you are sent when your order has been shipped & plan to be home to welcome your package.
***Unfortunately, the rate of delivery thefts has increased in recent years.
-Insurance is not included in the price of shipping. If you want to fully ensure your package, please let us know so we can invoice you for the extra charges.
