Normally this time of year at the opening gate of the bridal season, I am busy chatting with brides who are planning their coming weddings along with making and packing orders. I should be doing these things, but discovered to my horror that my shop was inundated with subterranean termites. They had been hiding under shelving units, for who knows how long, munching away at my beautiful hardwood floors!

After fumigation I closed my doors for three days and then came in to paint my walls a pleasing stone ivory to make my shop a place of beauty!

After all of the work and paper I used to print my love letters two seasons ago, I finally got around to modge pogding them on a few walls. It looks so lovely! Then I stenciled stars and other early American stencil patterns on the walls with metallic gold paint.

My studio was nice before but now it is magical! Since I spend most of my time here and have a constant stream of brides visiting me to try on crowns, I wanted my shop to be a place that is welcoming but most importantly moves me to create.

So after more than a week and a lot of hard work, I am now open for business & creation once again!

Enjoy a few images of what you will see when you visit by appointment only please.

Many thanks!
