It is a great honor to have my new Artistry of handmade Collections featured on Style me Pretty with photography by Caroline Tran….
As the dark days of winter recede and the promise of a new spring emerges, green shoots break ground and show themselves, soon to erupt into a rich floral garden. As the bright seasons of spring and summer approach, my creative energies are infused with the promise of light, joy and the glorious renewal that ushers in each new cycle of life.
My 2015 Spring/Summer Collection is firmly focused on distinctive design created with hand detailed craftsmanship. In a world of mass production, my studio continues to grow and flourish by staying true to this handmade design sensibility, paired with a commitment to uncompromising craftsmanship. This season I am showcasing a range of styles and shapes that celebrate artistry, glamour and the romance of all things beautiful.
Embracing the design aesthetic personified by craftsmen in centuries past, my new collection harks back to the lush creations of medieval times. This season’s head ornaments are crafted with multiple layers of delicate metal florals, hand-fabricated flowers and leaves paired with softer organic materials, accessories to crown a bride in refined elegance. To celebrate a special woman on her singular day, I’ve designed highly detailed halos, tiaras, crowns, vines and flourishes to complement a selection of sublime veils.
I am so fortunate and privileged to work with a talented creative team who enhance my design efforts. As captured by the talented photographer Caroline Tran, my 2015 Collection features stunning gowns by Claire Pettibone. Lindsey Burwell provided wonderful Hair and Makeup services, and our beautiful model is Anjelina Afanasyeva.
The exquisite artistry of medieval design, the hallmark of my 2015 Spring/Summer Collection, delivers the opulence of a bygone era to today’s bride, capturing the splendor of courtly love and timeless romance.
With love,
Erica
